Hybrids to the Sea Side

Today I took a short trip down to the Sea Side (New Brighton) where Hybrid's are becoming a common site on the roads of the Wirral. They were introduced back in late March 2013 to replace the old fleet of Alexander Dennis Enviro 400's. the Hybrid buses where part of the Green Bus Fund where Arriva placed a bid for a sum of money to purchase these wonderful buses.

Seen in New Brighton on Layover is this Volvo B5LH Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 MX13 ACV 4533 on service 433 to Liverpool

Also seen in New Brighton today was this VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar 2 seen in demo with Impera Bus and Coach. It features a bland interior of grey with yellow grab handles. However this Pulsar 2 is a rear one as it features Bonded Glazing as many Pulsar 2's across the Northwest don't have.
